Potential Tariff Impact on Icom Products

Icom just released an Operations Notice titled "Potential Tariff Impact on Icom Products." (See attached image below.) I'm posting this as a heads up for anyone currently in the market for any new Icom radios/accessories in the USA.

or Icom... you could convince the Japanese and Chinese governments to remove their import tariffs on US products.

Not to mention Japan has a 100% tariff on some US Products and up to 700% on a select few other US Products as reported by Fox News and conservative radio. If you look at the charts the Countries that are gettings tariffs have been charging the US more than the US is charging them now if you want to keep it fair.

The clairvoyance in me thinks this PSA is politically fueled. Never mind Icom's great bottom line. They're not hurting, and yet will jack up the price? When you spread the tariff over the cost of doing business it should be only a pennies difference per radio. Again, the clairvoyance in me thinks this PSA is politically fueled. It's propaganda to be sent to the masses and social media like everything else.
