Not breaking news or an incident. Since it may have interest to the MI community this topic is moved to the regular MI forum.

FWIW, I took part in the funeral and procession today. It was very well done, with some great stories told by both Delta's Chief and Windsors Chief.
Jack (John) had a long and colorful life, and he'll be missed by those he worked with and his family.

I was going to attend Jacks service as well. Family emergency prevented me from even being in town.
Ive know Jack since I was a little kid. Ive fought many fires assisting Benton Twp, as well as Grand Ledge Fire Depts.
Jack was a true gentleman IMHO.
May he rest in peace.

Thanks John for attending his funeral as well.
