The CHP-Blue will have the normal VIP escort chatter (in simplex) comms in/out of Moffit FA.

Charlie will be busy with the CP going thru their normal radio checks to/from the field posts. Mostly "In the clear" until it's "wheels down" time, then the whole mode changes.

Also San Mateo Co. SO - tac ops channels in P25 mode.

That's great....today 101 traffic in the dumps because of the overturned gas tanker....tommrow because of escort and closed streets.

Funny, didn't here anything about the visit on KGO radio.

Understand that W is going to be in Hillsboro tomorrow afternoon.
Time to monitor Secret Service and CAP channels.

That should be fun with 101 still partially closed in Redwood City for the gasoline tanker spill.

85 to 280 ?

Don't forget Moffet FA EDACS trunked system, Air Force CAP channels, and the usual news media frequencies.

I just received a report that there was LAPD, LAFD, CHP and all kinds of presence at the V.A. Hospital in Westwood, CA....and there was a dry run of helicopters yesterday

Because Bernie Ward is on "vacation"?

President Bush landed this morning at LAX for a Southland visit to promote the free trade agreements he mentioned in Monday's State of the Union address with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea.

LAX shut down temporarily to accommodate the arrival of Air Force One, and at the airport Bush was greeted by sisters Marni and Berni Barta, two Harvard-Westlake students who founded a program called Kid Flicks, which "collects new and used DVDs that are donated to children's hospitals and pediatric treatment centers across the country," explains the Daily News.

After presenting them with Volunteer Service Awards, he will proceed to his second appointment, which is at the Robinson Helicopter Co. in Torrance, where he will tour the facility with Gov. Schwarzenegger and then address the crowd in a talk expected to focus on "trade and the U.S. economy." Next comes the midday meal for the President, who will be speaking and eating at a Republican National Committee luncheon.

But it's just a quickie for Bush here in the Southland. He'll be holding air traffic again this afternoon when he hops his flight up to NorCal for "a GOP fundraising dinner in Hillsborough." Politicians are high on the radar here in the Los Angeles area this week as the Primary vote approaches, with major party debates scheduled for today in Simi Valley for the GOP and tomorrow in Hollywood for the Dems.

 ---or is he too busy trying to figure out how to destroy his hard drive of the kiddy porn(supposedly for research for his book about Catholic priest)

Back on subject:
Man, I am still hearing airport ops at SFO trying to figure out what to do with remnants of the escort and motorcade....and he's long gone from SFO.

To me, it's interesting listening to here the fall out from the visit. Seems like there would be better organization involved.

He arrived at SFO around I think 4:30 or 5pm with a relatively small motorcade. "Huntsman" was flying around in the CG helo during takeoff and landing. Simplex encrypted traffic on the usual channels....Alpha, Charlie and Oscar. A quick and low-profile trip. I think he left around 9:30. AF1 was parked in a manner it wasn't easily visible behind a United hanger. The C-5 transport from Travis was right next to the road though.

Huntsman was on 21A 157.0500 and also the SS channels. Alpha is commonly mis-referred to as Sierra on the internet; 166.5125.

All WHCA channels retained the USSS common NAC of 001 too.
