I was looking around the house for power adapters I had laying around. I found a 9v 350ma, would this work? I know it officially takes a 9v 300ma but didnt know if the 350ma would damage the unit or not. I know for some items I have used slightly different adapters before and they worked just fine. Anyone here ever use a slightly different adapter for the Pro-97?

You can use one with more ma without damaging the unit. Just make sure the tip has the correct polarity.

350 ma is pretty close so should be ok, I used a 800ma one with no problem I stopped because the rechargable batteries seem to get warmer then normal maybe they charged quicker

regulated power supply

i run my 97 on a home made regulated 1.5 amp ps. fused with a 500 milliamp inline fuse. it seems to work very well and i always, like having a fuse for safety.
