Not to stir up the non-Uniden die-hards but I just wanted to say the ability to drive anywhere around the country and be able to receive local traffic is quite awesome. Way to go, Uniden. If any other brand does this, kudo's to them as well.
I agree. However this is hardly a new thing. You have been able to attach GPS to Uniden radios for a decade, and as long as you programmed the stuff in the radio, the radio would follow it.
The Radio Reference database then created the ability to improve that so that you didn't have to program the radio any more, just pick the service types.
