I am hearing through multiple county sources that Prince Edward Co. SO has gone 800MHz, however I have found no licenses or references here on the forum about it. Anyone have any information on this?

Per the radio shop that maintains Prince Edward SO, they have transitioned to a P25 system utilizing the existing frequency of 460.2375. All new mobiles, portables, and dispatch console. Their P25 channel is patched over to an analog channel on 453.2375, which is used for interop with other agencies. Not sure where the 800 MHz info is coming from as it's not accurate.

Commtronics of VA, in Prince George but I doubt they'll program a radio for you unless you're authorized.

FYI...I just checked PE Co. & Farmville. WQXX675 licensed for the county on 460.2375 mhz. was modified for P25 emission operation effective 02/07/2019. WPTQ657 licensed to the town of Farmville still is licensed for analog operation only on their 453.2375 mhz. and their other two UHF repeaters.
