Can anyone confirm any frequencies that are active at Prince Gallitzin State Park in Cambria County? 151.010 is active with the Park Office and the Camp ground hosts. I’m going to be taking a few camping trips later in the summer and was wondering if there were any additional active DCNR frequencies used in the park. Thanks for any info.

There is a talkgroup on the STARNet statewide trunked system. I don't know how active it is.

Each state park has a talkgroup and a VHF direct channel (and/or a VHF repeater) for the park or park complex. Usage in each park varies. Some parks almost exclusively use the talkgroup. Some parks almost exclusively use the VHF. Some make frequent use of both. It depends on local needs and locally deployed equipment. DCNR is still not finished deploying all of their new equipment.
