ok,i took my friends 106 home,i had the cable,plugged it into computer,and thats as far as i got,should the scanner be on?what setting?,,anyway im clueless what to do next?what is a good freeware i can use that can walk me thru this,from plugging cable into computer to getting the scanner set to upload freqs,help,im clueless in massachusetts,lol

thnx,when i connect scanner to computer,i turn scanner on,what do i press,,also on win-scan i couldnt find a column where you drop down the window for p,ls etc?

Correct me if I am wrong but win-scan is not used to program a pro-106.
