Is there a way for me to scan a trunked system not by talkgroup but by radio id? I have a PRO-107 and I've input several radio id's (via the software), but all that does is display the text on the LCD when that RID is active. But, is there a way for me to monitor that RID as it jumps around different talkgroups (without monitoring the individual talkgroups)

@ scannerfreak

That's what I was afraid of, but thanks for the reply! I figured it was worth a shot!

Have not tried this but if you only had the RID in the table and left the TGID out, wouldn't the radio track only the RID?

No, that would not work. It's not possible to "track" RID's in any scanner. You track the talkgroup and as a result RID's are decoded and displayed.

I am going to look into this some more. The ISCAN software (Version 1.04) gives the user the ability to manage "Radio ID Details" under the "Trunked Radio Systems".
