Well, I got a "refurbished" pro-163 off the shack website, and slapped it in the dash of the old war wagon, 2001 Saturn SW2. The pro-clip on the right is for a Palm Treo 755p, but it fits my new Palm Pre, both when it's open and closed. Pro-clip has a model for Pre open and another for Pre closed. I'm getting am extended bracket so I can mount my Pro-164, and Sansa Clip+ above the phone. I may replace the plastic proclip mount with a metal one from Panavise if it starts to bend under the weight of the three devices. The stereo is an antique Alpine CDA-9805, the antenna is just split to the radio and scanner. I may get a dedicated antenna, but in this area, I can unplug the antenna from the scanner and it still works fine so I really don't see a need yet. BTW, I've got a lot of extra parts if anyone needs anything, two din-e sleeves for PSR-400/410/600/Pro-163/197 with keys, fused dc cable for PSR-400/410/600/Pro-163/197, the "u" mounting bracket with knobs that I'm assuming fits on PSR-400/410/600/Pro-163/197. You can still see the adhesive from the old dash kit, I'm worried that goof off would discolor the plastic. Any suggestions?

Looks very nice!! I mounted my RS scanner back in 2000 in my Old Ford Escort where the radio used to be, and no one ever realized it was a scanner [go figure] I wish more vehicles had areas where scanners and other radios could be mounted [who knows maybe someday]
