Pro-164 Signal stalker autostore

How to activate the signal stalker autostore in Pro-164 ?
I can't find it in the manual.

At Pro-164 - The RadioReference Wiki
stated that Pro-164 has "Signal stalker II (with 10 autostore channels)"

ya,that page says about signal stalker and manually save found frequency.
but not say anything about autostore.

The manual says something about "store", but nothing about "Auto-store", so I suspect the WIKI is WRONG. It wouldn't be first time.

Perhaps you press ENT to store a freq. that Signal Stalker detects. Try it. I don't know, just a guess.

Well what in the world. Hmm...I assumed it would automatically store frequencies as well with the signal stalker. Now this just has me puzzled. Even my old Uniden 2500xlt would auto store frequencies. I just looked through the paper manual and I cannot find anything about automatically storing found frequencies.

I never used that feature, but indeed a bummer for those that might.

Okay, I just read the Wiki for the 164 and see where it says autostore for Signal Stalker II. Signal Stalker I will autostore, but not on the 164. Signal Stalker II does not auto store from what I've read in the manual. The parenthesis and the text in it should be edited out on the wiki.

Some mention of Win97 software should be on that page, or the linked programming page. True the software costs money and is so well worth it.

Anyways, anyone who stumbles on this thread should note that there was a recent firmware upgrade for the 163/164 in March 2012. See the RS support page. (You'll need the connector cable to install.)

That upgrade only delt with WX reception. Plus, you only need the programing cable w/o the pigtail.

OK, I have edit the wiki with delete " (with 10 autostore channels) "
if somone know how to autostore with pro-164, please write how to do it.
and I will write it in the wiki.
