pro 164 trunk scanning

i got my scanner to trunk scan for my county and now i get all the school busses and vdot transmissions along with the fire and police calls .. if i lockout the transmissions while they are talking will it interfere with the police or fire transmissions since they use the same frequncies?

no it should not, when you press lockout during the transmission you want locked out, it just locks out the talkgroup id.

thanks for the reply. got rid of alot of unwanted traffic. school busses vdot etc.
