Pro-18 Whistler Upgrade

I have a stock PRO-18. Will this upgrade include P25 Phase II capability?

Yes it will. The upgrade basically turns the scanner into a Whistler 1080 which is phase2 and dmr capable.

Thanks. DMR is not as important to me as P25 Phase II is. IL STARCOM 21 has moved to this. And I imagine SAFE-T in Indiana will move as well at some point.

Although I've sent a Pro-668 to whistler to proper DMR upgrade, I've done the None-official upgrade on my Pro-18 and both 668 official and 18 none official work pretty much identically with DMR and P2 working great too on the 18.

The problem with the non-official upgrade isn't the performance. Get the inexpensive official upgrade and get support from Whistler.
