I have a Realistic Pro 2003 that has a strange issue. It works except...you can proram all of your frequencies into it, and it takes them. Then, the moment you hit scan...they are gone and the scanner replaces what you programmed into it with some strange off the wall frequencies!! I have never had this problem, with ANY unit before. Any suggestions or known similar problems/repairs? Or, should it just be sent to that big scanner graveyard???????
Thanks!

Tom,

If there is a memory battery, try replacing it. Bearcat radios would do strange things in memory when the battery was dead. Hope this helps

Wmbio,
Thanks I'll check and see if it has one. I wasn't aware that the Pro 2003 was made by Uniden. Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can figure out.

Pro 2003

with unit off, hold down the 1 and the clear buttons together and turn on the unit.
This will reset and clear all your frequencies but it should work fine after that.
