Any owners of the Pro 2006 ever experience keys that don't respond when pressed? I have to hit the key multiple times to get it to do anything. Just wondering if anyone has a solution to this problem. I have cleaned the circuit board and the key buttons but it hasn't helped much.

Thanks

Decided to take it apart and have a look see. What I did was I took fine sandpaper and scruffed up the little black buttons on the other side of each key it now works as it should.

Next project is the backlight replacement if I can find one>

Good fix. What worked for me was a lot of contact cleaner once I had the membrane separated from the circuit board.

Good luck with the backlight. I bought one on ebay a while back. It was not as bright as the original one.
