I am getting a radio shack PRO-2026 that only has the model 20-148 without the A or B? I know the A can have the cell restoration mod, but can this one?

I have a 20-148 with no A or B and know it can be done. If you're
in the U.S. I'm not going to give you low-down about legalities. That
said, I never mod'ed mine and don't intend to (and it's not for sale),
as I consider it (nothing personal intended) a loser activity; more so
now that analog cellular in almost-to-completely extinct in many
areas.
