Pro-2040 trunk track?

Just wondering if the pro-2040 is able to track any trunking systems. After reading the manual and such online, I am assuming it does not trunk track, just want some clarification.

Conventional/Trunked Systems 856.00–861.00 MHz
Trunked Systems 861.00–866.00 MHz

851.00–856.00 MHz is conventional systems only

Thanks!! Ya read the same manual, I guess I should of clarified better. Will it track say a Motorola type 2 system? I know it can't do digital.

I think -I'm not entirely sure here - that this is the base clone that RS made of the original Uniden trunktracker, the BC235. It can trunktrack Moto analog Type 1 or 2 systems - but in this early stage, it can only trunktrack or scan conventionally, but won't do both like modern scanners can.

ONLY if ALL the frequencies are within the Ranges posted in the manual

Ok Thanks!! That's what I thought but wasn't sure lol. I do believe their are a couple of old analog systems that are active here in Windsor area.

Yes sir, will do. If it don't pan out, was free anyhows. Maybe set it up for a civil. air scanner.

The BC235 and PRO-90 are twins. The PRO-2050 is a base scanner with similar capabilities. The PRO-2040 looks to be just a conventional scanner with no trunk tracking capability.
