Since no one apparently wants to share with you what the heck the "NAC" thing means, I will. NAC is the digital equivalent of PL, and is used to receive digital P25 transmissions. Just so you know, in the FM area two kinds of selective coding are used, PL (which is an actual audio tone at a low level), and DCS/DPL (which is a digital tone, so to speak). When you get your scanner that can receive P25 you can use either F7E or 293 as "catchall" NAC designators if you don't know the actual NAC for a channel. The equipment manual for the radio will probably discuss these things in some detail for you.
