A friend got one for christmas and want me to get the programming fixed...i have the 20-047 cable and need to know A) what program works best B) will this do the newer highband frequencies ? like 151.4825...before i even bother...thanks in advance

Butel's ARC404 may be worth looking into.

No, you will not be able to program 151.4825, it will round off to 151.480. However, you may still be able to hear it programmed like this with a lower audio level, and if there are no other nearby channel users.

Note that the sensitivity levels listed above are slightly mis-separated - ie the airband sensitivity is 1uv, not as good as .5uv. NOT a super big deal, and appreciate the data, but just wanted to point this out if someone was spec-shopping a radio and took a casual glance.
