anyone here have one that is having problems getting talk groups???

i have 2 pro 97's and they pick up fine on talk groups..

some people say if i am getting talk groups all the time on the 97's i should be on the 433 and i am not.

i'm sure its not set up wrong, i had some one else on here help me set it up.

I thought the scanner was messed up so i took it back and exchanged it and this one does the same thing.

I believe your trying to listen to an EDACS system are the channels programmed into the proper channel numbers in the proper order.
This was posted to the wrong thread I finally realized.

Since the 433 is aUniden built scanner the radio should be set to control channel scan only.So program up the channels in order/out of order.Select in the trunking settings in ARC433 under motorola 800/900 with status bit on and control channel scan. This works much better.I have this set for a type 1 system and having great results, except that I had to find out what fleet map to use. This is not a issue for type 2 systems.
