I have not found a way (if there is one). Another suggestion, get a good 5v A/C adapter and plug it in when your settled down for the evening (so you don't have a cord following you everywhere). This way, when you doze off, the radio will not shut down. The one I got was recommended by a RS salesman (quite an uninformed salesman I may add), is this one ( Mini USB Wall Charger 5' Cable 2302393 Radioshack ). They are @ 1/3 the cost of the retail store prices on fleabay (and they are brand new ones if you are careful).
