I've got the SS working. what I need to know, is there a way to review freqs found by SS? Also, SS shows the freq for only a second when I hit a key and then immediately goes back to searching. How do I get the Freq to stay on the screen for longer than a second?

I don't think there is a way to review the frequencies that it has found ... I've had the same problem, and most of the time I cant get to the hold button in time, unless I'm physically holding the scanner in my hand ... it sucks I know, but thats the best thing that I have found to do ... just hope that you get the the hold button in time lol ....

The Pro-528 does store the SS hits.. The Pro-83 does not.

Usually, you can just hit a key. If you hit the SS key again it will continue searching. Hit a different key and it should stop. Try the "Hold" or 'Pause" key.

I use the "Hold" button when using stalker....seems to work ok, otherwise I'm impressed with the 83. Outstanding sensitivity, especially inside. I use it mobile connected to a Antenna Specialist all band whip. Not a bad little radio if one can deal with it's shortcomings.
