Hi,

Don't know where the Pro-95 fits, as far as manufactureres, mine just
sayss Radio Shack across the bottom, front. :-( If this is not the
right forum, then please move it to the correct one. ~Thanks~

Several of the Police agencies in my area have gone to 700 MHz, P-25,
trunked and gotten off of 800 MHz all together. So, I need to reprogram
the whole scanner.

I've tried holding 2 & 9, then truning it "On", but to no avail. I thought
I'd tried every conceivable combo, but nothing works.

Years ago, I understand there was a triple button on that cleared ALL the
channels including the prepared and installed channeled frequencies.

Anybody have that "combo? I'm desperate to get back up an running.

Thanks,
Warmest Regards,

Don/KA5LQJ

The PRO-95 can not be reprogrammed for the 700MHz band. Even if it could tune down there, P-25 is digital and the PRO-95 is only analog. I hope you can dig up $400-$500 for a digital scanner.

Re-Programming Pro-95....

Hi Richard, All,

I'm not wanting to program the Pro 95 down to the 700 MHz FEMA band.
It simply won't go down there due to the chips in the 95.

What I want to do is delete the pre-programmed frequencies, Fire, Police,
etc and those that were programmed in by the other police department
we bought this from. In other words, wipe it clean as a baby's behind,
LOL! Then I can put in the frequencies I want to listen to: CB; 10 meter
AM; 10 meter FM repeaters; low-band FM (30-50 mcs.); high-band VHF
FM (150-174 mcs); lo-band UHF (406-470 mcs) and 800 trunked.

GOD BLESS,
73,

Don/KA5LQJ
