Pro-96 Parts?

I left my rechargeable batteries plugged in to long, and it warped the case pretty bad. Luckily the batteries didn't explode or else this would be a huge mess.

Anyway, I found this site here with a list of parts.

Its dated 2005 though, so I was wondering if I am still able to order parts from radio shack, and also which parts to order? All i need is the plastic case, nothing else.

Contact your local radio shack with the catalog numbers and they should be able to order it for you. You can also call the 800 number.

I did both- neither said they could help me?! Im so frustrated now, I called the 800 number and spoke to a sales representative who transfered me to parts services, than parts services transferred me to back to sales, and than sales said you have to call or visit the local store.

So i call the local store and the guy tells me the catalog number is 8 numbers long which means its online only, so I gave him the parts number, and he told me nothing was coming up in his system. I then reminded him what I said when we first got on the phone, that it was a repair part, to which he responded I cannot order repair parts to the store because I have price to charge you.

What the hell... should i just go to the store and hope I find somebody more competent?

Use the magic words "RSU Parts Order". They should know what that means. The parts will be shipped to your home.

I think it has to be in store.

If that does not work try a differnt
radio shack.

Could be employee not trained correctly.

Since RS phone service is abysmal, I go to the store to order the RSU parts. If the kids behind the counter dont know what RSU is, the manager does for sure. You have to pay shipping and handling on the parts cause they cannot send them to the store for some reason. Once you order the parts you can check the order status at www.radioshack.com/rsu

Thanks everybody, the magic word did the trick. But wow, its going to be a total 55.59 for my three parts, not including shipping...

Neither the front or rear case is available from RSU parts for this radio.
