Hey all just got aPRO 96 for 100.00 bauck at pawn shop.

I live in OKC and not sure how to add digital channels.

Anyone know what to listen to Digital?

any help would be appreciated.

or
push program key ( bottom right)
enter the frequency you want to monitor, press ENTER (top Right)

so easy a cave can do it - with a manuel

I know how to program the Scanner

I was not aware if digital was any different than trucked programming.

you want to program a radio in your truck?

digital is another type of transmitting like AM or FM or digital
read the WIKI, yes the radio can receive digital if you mean TRUNK radio systems not all trunked systems are digital but yes the radio will do it try it you cant break the radio for trying

the problem I have is I can't seem to find any digital signals in the area of OKC.

I am trying to find out if my scanner is working or not for digital signals.

Do you all know of any P25 signals in OKC.

I see tinker but am unable to hear anything from them.

I do live north OKC so I thought that might be the reason if they are not on repeaters.

I ask for any advise and help

There are digital talk groups on this system, program the system in and pick out some of the digital talk groups if you really want to listen to see how they sound.

I have those programmed in I guess it does not want to pick up on those freq.

I did get 1 DG to show but it was all digital sounding

You have that system programmed in as a trunked system, and added the digital talk groups, correct? You did say you know how to program that scanner in a post above. Does that scanner have the latest upgrades that are available?

I live in NJ, I'm trying to help you. After picking up the cable, I would look into getting software to assist with programming your scanner. If you become a Premium Subscriber on RR, you will with cable, software and membership, import data from the database into the software for uploading to your scanner.

Adam, try this Fed system. Federal Prisoner Transfer Center Oklahoma City Trunking System, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Scanner Frequencies It too may be out of range.

Program all 5 freqs and set custom table using FUNC 2 then set FUNC 3 to Table using down arrow. Scan in Open Mode.
