Any way to adjust the backlight brightness?

Yes, turn on the backlight from the keyboard. We will call this the "level 9" brightness level. Now, get a 16 oz roofing hammer and strike the front of the scanner repeatedly and forcefully with the hammer while the backlight is on. The display is now in the "level zero" brightness mode....

Oh.... uhh... wait, I guess we should have started with the "level 9" to "level 8" brightness modification first. Oh well, maybe next time.....

I di dthe hammer mod for brightness, how do I get it back to Level 9, now its to hard to see, any help will be appreciated

Now you have to bang it on the back but with a 16 lb sledge.
