OK, I re did it in what I thought was LCN, and I'm still experiencing the same issues. I can manually select a frequency, and occasional transmissions will come through. That's fine, but I can't hear entire conversations. I have bank 0 set up like this.

Channel 0 - Fire Main (154.980)
Channel 1 - Trooper 7 (154.280)
Channel 2 - Talk Around 1 (866.5125)
Channel 3 - Talk Around 2 (867.0125)
Channel 4 - Talk Around 3 (867.5125)
Channel 5 - Talk Around 4 (868.0125)
Channel 6 - SMC Public Safety (453.2375)
Channel 7 - Trunk Channel 1 (866.1625)

Do those frequencies have to be in LCN? Or is it just the trunked channels?

Dude you're not even close.
From the St. Mary's page you need to have these freqs in these channels-

Say you're putting it into Bank 1:

ch freq
101 866.16250
102 866.43750
103 866.76250
104 867.47500
105 867.63750
106 867.77500
107 867.93750
108 868.15000
109 868.72500
110 868.78750

The other freqs you quote can be on other channels but 1 thru 10 MUST MUST MUST be on THOSE channels in THAT order. Otherwise the trunking won't work.

Just the trunked channels, enter as they are in the DB

OK, I did that, but now (I think) something weird is happening. If I put the mode on those frequencies onto FM, the trunking comes in, however, at the end it has a bit of an interference at the end of the message. If I switch it to ED (which it should be), it goes back to my previous problem of no audio, but the display shows up.

Not only do the freqs have to be ED but the talkgroups as well.
If you get 4 or 5 beeps at the end of transmissions it means you aren't yet trunking properly. (low signal strength or program error)

All of my talkgroups are in ED, and the freqs were to. Kinda stumped as to why I'm getting something on FM but nothing on ED.

And yes, I do realize I can be a pain, lol.

If you're hearing transmissions in FM mode but not in ED mode, you may be trying to scan in closed mode instead of open mode. If you're scanning in closed mode but haven't entered any talkgroups, you won't hear anything. If you haven't entered any talkgroups yet, make sure the bank is in "Open" mode; there should be a plus sign (+) over the bank number. You have to enter talkgroups and then scan in "Closed" mode (minus sign over the bank number) in order to just monitor specific talkgroups (channels).

Is the bank in EDACS mode?? Any chance they went encrypted with AEGIS? Have you tried posting in the Maryland forum to get more concise info from those who might know better? Just trying to help.

That's probably it. I just now remember I closed it awhile ago.

N8IAA -- there is one encrypted channel and it's the Narcotics channel. The others are regular, analog transmissions. :)

*Edit -- Just changed it to open, and the freq's back to ED with no luck. I might just delete all the frequencies and start over.
