I just open my 197,
I think it's same with the picture that Doug upload.
My pot also has mark A503 and B103.
From that post, why the PCB assy that contain VOL/SQ/HEADPHONE/PCIF
is cheaper that the pot it self ?
I do not know the part values. RSU part number 12468278 for the Pro-197 PCB ASSY VOL/SQ/HEADPHN/PCIF will cost you $40.17 plus shipping and is In Stock. This item can only be ordered through the POS in a company owned store. Since you are out of conutry, you will have to find someone here to purchase the part and send it to you..
I just found this. The VOL/SQ pot is a three section 10K ohm /50K ohn / SPST Switch
Wow, the price is alot more expensive than previosly you post fot Pro-2096.
I will loking for another altirnative first,
while i'm waiting for my friend back to US.
I need to replace the pot on my PRO-197, and it looks like RS can't get them anymore. Not sure if this is related to GRE America's recent troubles...
I'd prefer to save a buck and fix it myself, but if I can't get the part (either the pot or the whole assembly) maybe I could send it in for repair? The manager at the RS store I visited wasn't sure what the repair center would do if they couldn't get the part.
The manager at the store looked it up on the computer, and the part was still in the system, along with a picture and all, but it said that none were available.
