Can someone tell me why when I enter a freq. like 154.8675 my scanner rounds off to the next even #. Is there a way I can enter this freq. and have it stay in the scanner why does it round off to the next even#?

Read the specs page in your owners manual (pg 70 in the online pdf). 137 - 174 MHz range is in 5 KHz steps. This will round .xxx5 to .xxx0.

You should have a specification topic listed in the contents section of your owners manual. The page won't be 70, but will be in that area. Should be a page or two before the last page.

Specifications

Frequency Coverage :
29–54 MHz (in 5 kHz steps)
108–136.975 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)
137–174 MHz (in 5 kHz steps)
216–224.995 MHz (in 5 kHz steps)
406–512 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)
806.0000–823.9375 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)
851.0000–868.9875 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)
896.1125–956.0000 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)
1240.0000–1300.0000 MHz (in 12.5 kHz steps)

PRO 94 Manual

I have the same scanner pro-94 and i have read it alot of times. Mostly i've jumped around in the reading.
If a file is brought up in PDF format, you can get to the correct page fastest by using a left mouse click on the scroll bar. Hold down and and the application will show page#/total number of pages in document For instance ----> "45 of 76"

online manual can be found at

where can i find accessories for a pro-94B?
i need the following:
lapel speaker
pouch / case
USB cable with software

any radioshack should have what you need, but if they know how to find it that is another story altogether.

ps. any lapel speaker with an 1/8 plug should work fine. I am not a fan of cases, so I cant recommend anything. As for the software , start by checking out www.starrsoft.com

happy scanning.

Don Starr does not have software for the Pro-94 which is a Uniden built scanner. You can download ScanCat Lite Plus at http://www.scancat.com/scancat-lite-plus.html The cable you will need is 20-047 from Radio Shack. Radio Shack sold the speaker at one time.

I see a tablature formatted trouble shooting section on page 70 with no mention of quote.
Maybe, Fmon; ? are you/ is refering to a reference in the table???
Do we have different pdf manuals?
BTW, this is my first time trying to attach a file. So if it isnt attached my post here is less clear.

Your first attach attempt is perfect. And yes, My pdf is different, yours must be for the original 94 because it has the following:

TRUNKING OPERATION

• Your scanner cannot scan trunked system and
conventional frequencies at the same time.

The 94B can scan both conv and trunked in the same bank. However, each page of my pdf has 20-524A but must be an editors error, because the following can only be found in the Pro-94B Owners Manual.

SETTING THE SCANNER TO THE TRUNKING MODE

Simultaneous Trunking
You can also program conventional frequencies in the
same bank as trunking systems.

In either case, the Owners Manual will not have the same page numbering as a pdf version of the same manual. But the contents listings in the Owners Manual should be identical to the appropriate pdf version.
