Pro96Comm & 396XT

This is an oddity. I am using my 396XT to feed Pro96Comm so I can track user ID's as well as new TG's while I'm at work. In order to make the 396XT to connect, you have to set the Control Channel Output to ON. No problem. The problem I have is when I get home and disconnect it and then plug the cable into my RH96, you have to turn OFF the Control Channel Output or the RH96 keeps resetting itself. Anyone else have this problem? I am using both of the latest firmware in the 396XT and RH96.

Unfortunately, this is not really a "problem". I don't thiink the RH96 was designed to handle the interruptions (bursts) of the CC data coming over the line. Remember, the RH96 came out during the "T" line before the CC data could be output. The same thing can happen when using remote software if the CC data is not turned off.
