I have a Radio Shack pro 197 and want to program the Starcom into it. What setting do I put the 197 on? Apco Auto? or moto 700/800? Thanks for the help...

i dont have a 197 but i do have a psr 500.I would say you do not want moto 700/800 so that leaves either apco or auto. I THINK either will work but not 100% sure. Try auto first and and see. if no luck try the apco. They may both work but one may be better than the other. hope that helps.
