Programing Moto Talkgroups

Okay, I am putting Moto Talkgroups into the software for the BCD396T, and I am confused. Do I need to input the Dec as well as the Hex? For example: Dec 4272 Hex 10b District 53 - Dispatch. Sorry for the novice question, but this is going to be my first trunk scanner. Thank you in advance.

You only need the Dec. Hex is used for programming Motorola trunking radios, while Dec is used to program trunk-tracking scanners.
