We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Got ahold of a bcd396t and and I am having trouble programming. When I try to program a conventional system directly into the radio or using freescan it always adds in low band public safety frequencies. It scans what I put in then goes to the public safety list. My old eyes tried to search but I cannot find anything.

Thanks

It is locked out

Thanks for the reply. I am at a total loss. It is locked out. The radio shows L/O. It is now attaching itself to every new system I program no matter what type of system it is. It is not doing this to existing systems. While scanning a system put the radio on hold and click through you get frequencies, talkgroups, and then public service comes up starting with frequencies in the 30's and going up past the 150's as you click through. Like I said, it seems to be attaching itself to any new system I program whether I program with freescan or directly into the radio.
