Programming 996p2 with Windows XP Media Edition

Recently received 996p2 from HRO.
I can not get Windows XP Media Edition for find USB to program radio.
I am using ARC-XT PRO, but can not find the communication port using the usb cable.
I have never had any problems with the serial ports and programming my other radios.
Why change something if it works?
Can someone send me instructions on how to get the radio programmed using the usb.

Thank you for the quick reply. The 996p2 is up and running. It sounds great while monitoring a sim-cast p25 system. Now if I could only figure out how to correctly set my 996t to decode better.
