Programming Cable for BR330T

My programming cable for the 330T will not work on my Toshiba or Acer serial cable hookup. Is there any
other usb cable or adapter I could use for this scanner. The input is 15 pin on the computers and the cable end is 9 pin. Can I purchase an adapter from somewhere?

Are you sure that what you are attempting to hooking up to is a serial port and not a VGA port? Usually VGA ports are blue on the computer and have female adaptors, while serial ports are male adaptors with no color.
If the laptops don't have a serial port then you will need to buy a USB to serial port adaptor.

You need a USB to serial adapter. Most laptops and even desktops these days no longer have serial ports.
