I'm working on setting up my BCD396T with the CSP system.
RR db lists multiple sites for this system. If I want to monitor multiple sites, I'm assuming each site should be it's own system? Am I correct in this? And for each site, I basically need to re-enter all of the TGs and TGIDs ?

Some of the TGIDs are listed as "0" (zero), what does that mean?

The CSP TRS is mainly 8 separate systems. 5 others are fill sites to address a dead area. The last 2 are the two mobile comm trucks which can fill in for sites that are being worked on or be their own site. (the most obvious example is at the UCONN football games where the truck provides coverage for the stadium.)
To monitor the system, I put the main two zones I monitor in separate banks. Then I put ones that are at different ends of the state in the same bank. All the fill sites are in one along with the 2 comm truck banks. I think I use 5 total.
Keep in mind that it takes 1-2 seconds to scan each trunked bank without an activity. I try to keep it down to 3 seconds as not to miss any traffic on other channels. That allows me 2 trunked banks and then my conventional.

The "0" ids are because they haven't been ID yet. There is a listing of channels out on the net but not all have been matched up to TG ID's.

So I can program multiple sites into a single bank, include both control channels, and extra frequencies, and that won't cause an issue?
I suppose it's the same as programming multiple systems of the same kind into a conventional memory type scanner... (right?)

you will only hear one zone per Uniden system at a time (it stops at the first control channel and then checks talkgroups then goes to the next bank). The reason to put systems into the same bank is to keep the scanner moving through everything quickly and to allow the scanner to start picking up other zones as you drive through them.
