Has anyone here used radio programming software on a Mac through either Parallels or VMWare Fusion? Just curious about whether it is a huge pain to get the cables working on a virtual machine. Thanks!

I use a MacBook Pro running VMWare Fusion and an XP VM exclusively to program my Yaesu mobile, Yaesu handhelds, Uniden scanners and Wouxun radios. Also Garmin GPS stuff. Works flawlessly with a USB to serial cable. Been doing this for years and don't even have a working Windows machine set up at home anymore.

I have used VMWare Fusion to program scanners on my Macbook Pro. I currently have an iMac and just use bootcamp to do it.
