Getting tired of all the stupidity.
Oddly this has never come up for me before.
When programming an M7300 with a remote mount head ONLY, is it good practice to program it via the mic connector on the remote head,
or is there a strong recommendation to use the serial port on the back of the radio unit instead?
This hasn't come up for me before because my own remote mount M7300 is a dual control head setup, with the M7300 having its own attached control head
and a second head connected via CAN cable. I've always programmed it via the mic connector on the radio unit.
If there's a higher rate of programming errors with one method than the other, then obviously I want to avoid that method.
