Programming SD Card

I'm trying to write to my new sd card in Sential unable to get the card to work? I know i'm missing something?

Hi & welcome to the RR forums:
The 536HP needs to be in mass storage mode to be recognized by Sentinel. Read "connecting USB cable" in its entirety here

If a new SD card go to the Scanner tab in Sentinel and Clear User Data.

I tried that it won't highlight the ok tab when i write to scanner

Did you press the "E" key to put the scanner in mass storage mode after connecting the cable as I originally suggested? Upon doing that and choosing Scanner > Write to Scanner, or Scanner > Clear user data the card should show up here & OK button will be enabled

Don't forget to check the box "show all drives" when doing that. Sentinel has to create the proper files on the SD card for programming.

New SD-Card
Under the Scanner tab select clear user data. When the box opens check Display all Drives, then refresh. Select the drive letter.
Now update firmware, a box will open and select the correct model
Update the master database
Go to Edit profile and turn on or off the favorite lists you want to copy and monitor, also a good time to set the service types
Write to scanner

When the scanner sees the new card it will automatically update the firmware, either when you unplug the cable to the scanner or when you insert the new card if it was created on the PC.
