Programming Uniden Atlantis 250 VHF

Does anybody know how to program private channels into a Uniden atlantis 25o vhf - to use it to monitor other frwquencies?

It's a marine radio - it only monitors marine channels. There is no programming.

Yes - but it was originally programmed some way - i want to put in private channels 155-156 mhz

It should already have those channels, they're probably just listed as their channel 'number' instead of frequency. There's no way to change the factory programming.
