How do you keep from re-loading previous information every time you add new information?

I don't understand the question...
If you mean adding information to your scanner in addition to what's there, with GRE radios, you need to download the information that's in the scanner first to the program, add your info, and then upload it back into the radio. GRE radios work in complete configurations when dealing with the PC/IF port, so anything uploaded to the radio will overwrite what's already in the scanner.
