Hi, I have a Uniden BCT8 scanner and Scan Control Full software. I am trying to program the trunked systems into my scanner. I thought Woodbury Co was using a EDACS system but if I use that selection in Scan Control for trunk type (either ED-WID or ED-SCT) it gives me an error when I try to program the scan lists. If I use the type of T2-800 it lets me enter all the data and program my radio but I do not hear anything when I get hits on those frequencies. What I hear is just noise like when you turn squelch off on a channel with no traffic. Any ideas?
Thank you!
Ben

It appears that Woodbury has been migrating to the Sioux City P25 Network. Unfortunatly the BCT8 does not support P25 Digital Transmissions so therefor sorry to say you are out of luck with this paticular model. There are many scanners such as the BCD996T, BCD396T, GRE PSR-500 to name a few that will support the Digital Signals and P25, However they do cost a bit more, but in time you are going to see a lot of tranmissions start moving over to P25. For More information regarding the P25 network and how it work and also radios that support digital and p25, visit the wiki site at the link listed below.

Thank you for help. I can quit wasting my time on that. Will need to invest in a better radio in the future. Thank you again!
