Just noticed that almost every favorite shows "RRDB Differences" whereas is have only seen it a few times in the past.

This just started recently so I installed the new Proscan version and I still have the notifications.

Here is what I get and I've labeled it and know if my brain is loosing it.....what is wrong or incorrect with what I'm seeing????

Are my labels correct? Why aren't the Talk-groups listed in the "Differences"???

Thanks

Do you mean each system? It will show the buttons enabled if they were imported from the RRDB?

What notifications?

It's by design that the right pane does show them.

It will only display tgid in the Differences column if there is an issue or difference.

Here, I changed an entry. Yorktown tac is 9585. I changed it to 1234, then ran Differences.

RR has correct info and Proscan does not. So it wants to delete 1234, and add 9585.

Ok....makes sense with your example and the TGs but what about my example? I don't see anything that is different.....do you???

I have several that are showing up that I cannot seem to find the "differences" like this small one....

Yes about the right pane and that is just one of the things I love about ProScan!

Your example is not seeing any differences. Thats a good thing. If it was, they would be shown in the right column.

When you hit differences, then get data, it compares what’s programmed in each system in proscan, and compares with what’s listed on radio reference for each system. If it sees a difference, it will be shown on the right.

In my example, I changed the tgid that was in a system and ran differences/get data. It connected to radio reference and saw the tgid should be 9598, not the 1234 I changed it to. From that point, selecting execute all would delete the wrong tgid and add the correct tgid.

Always best to read scanner into proscan before looking for any differences. Then if any found or you change anything else, then write back to the scanner.

Obviously I'm still learning about Proscan....for some reason I thought the "RRDB Differences" was to inform that THERE was/is a conflict....NOW I know better!

Thanks as always Dave and ProScan
