I have a question regarding proscan when i load my file into my scanners. I make up my own custom lists for my radios in proscan. Say the list has 20 different systems in it. Once the radio takes the file from proscan, every system turns on in the radio. I have to manually go and turn everything off and just put on what system i want that radio to have running. Am i missing some setting in proscan to make it not do this??

Or... Look in the Database tab | Quick Keys / Search keys.

There you can set which systems are active or not active when they are programed to your radio.

If those options don't fix it...
If you simply program in the same file every time (with edits or subtractions) you will get the same result. You can program the scanner, get it the way you want it, then read the scanner and save the file. That good file will then program the scanner the same way each time

Uncheck these two while writing to scanner if you have them checked. If you're not seeing these options then reply back with what model Uniden you're using so we can give you the applicable option(s)

Those radios don't all act the same with programming. However, when you choose Upload to the 996P2, you will see some options. If you are happy with what is being scanned, select the last option, Dont Send SQK & GQK Status. You will upload the Systems selected but not change the Quick Key settings. Unchecking the Send Settings box will leave all existing settings in the radio alone.

Is it this at the bottom of pic? This is a shot from 996P2 Proscan
Radios are sds200/100, 536hp, and 996p2 and 15x
I no longer own a 996p2 or 15X but with regards to the x36s/SDSx00s as I mentioned in post #5 you'll see these options while you write to the scanner (after selecting scanner to write to then clicking OK). Same screen where you check the favorites list boxes you wish to include in the write

Did you uncheck the quick keys you do not want on before sending to scanner?
