Good evening all,
I was hoping i could get some insight on how to get my uniden 436hp to connect to RSOIP. (hardware/software specs down below)
I have the paid proscan software and I can get it to run the web client locally without issue , unfortunately for the life of me I cant get RSOIP to work.
I've already gone into my router and assigned a reservation to the computers local IP address, and left the port forwarding set with port 5000 on both the proscan software and my router (TCP as stated in the manual). I've read the manual over and over again and cant seem to get why I can get the web client locally but not the RSOIP locally or remotely.
I ran can you see me on my ip with port 5000 and it was visible. Also Emailed bob and he suggested I post here with hopes someone could guide me in the right direction.
Hardware/software specs are:
HP laptop running windows 10, with proscan 15.1 paid version
4636hp scanner wired with usb and audio ( audio is squared away and can be heard on web client)
Netgear R7000 router with the HP computers local IP reserved and port forwarding set on proscan and router (port 5000) with TCP only as required by manual
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance
