I have pursued the Proscan manual and still have a dumb question.
I have the communications working over WiFi between my BCD536HP and my Windows 10 desktop displaying, on the PC, the output seen on the scanner’s display.
In fact, I now have the ability to use my iPhone as a client to the Proscan server (on my local LAN and remotely when away from home).
I would now like to take advantage of Proscan’s abilities related to editing/refining the data in my scanner’s Favorite Lists, Systems, Departments, etc.
I can’t seem to get beyond importing the Favorite Lists only - they contain no Systems, Departments, Sites, Channels.
I assume that, since the scanner and PC are able to communicate over WiFi, the serial connection is not required. Is that correct?
If the serial connection is not necessary (as long as WiFi is working) what do I need to configure to load, access, edit and then save refinements to Favorites, Systems, Departments, Sites and Channels?
Thanks for any help in advancing my ability to exploit my investment in Proscan.
