I have setup 2 new streams using ProScan. The 396XT is streaming Martinsburg PD and WV SPD Troop 2, C&O Canal and some Fed. The 996T is streaming BCSO, EMS, FED and FD TGs on the WVIRP from the Berkeley Co. Site. I did have these running on my main Vista 64bit PC but I ran into issues with choppy audio on the other PC when I would do a full backup or audio/video editing. I have now moved both streams to an older Dell GX240 PC running only Windows XP SP3 and McAfee v8.7 and of course ProScan server. I did have the 396XT scanning Jefferson Co. but there were about 2 other ProScan streams plus I wanted to be able to monitor Martinsburg.

So, those of you that use ProScan, let me know what you think and if they sound OK.

I'm listening to the first feed.

Do you have a 396XT by any chance? Because I'm noticing a pop when the scanner audio opens up. Several months back a user here on RR had the same symptoms and I thought the scanner is putting a DC component on the AF and suggested a DC blocking capacitor or audio isolation transformer may fix the problem. Capacitor didn't work (it should of) but the transformer fixed it.

Thanks. Yes, one is a 396XT. I HATE the popping. I'll look at the link you provided.
