The Special Signal Fire Association/ Providence Canteen Fire and Police Rehab Unit has expanded to include Service into Barnstable County (Cape Cod.) The truck will be known as Canteen 4 Cape Cod Division. The truck has also been added to the County Fire Radio Network Run Card. It will be requested to scenes as needed by Incident Commanders. The truck is the Former Sandwich Ambulance 456. Sandwich Fire donated the Ambulance to the Group. The truck also has 2 800mhz radios that can be used to communicate to any Agency on Cape Cod. The vehicle also has 2 portable 800mhz radios. The truck is being Kept at Harwich Station 2. It will be manned by volunteers. Here is a post on the groups Facebook page.
