PSR 500: Meaning Of "DG" On Screen ?

Hello:

Have a 500.

While scanning a Conv. system, the letters "DG" occasionally come up in place of
the more normal "FM" letters on the left of the screen, middle row.

Haven't been able to pause it in time, and it happens only rarely.

Any idea what DG means ?

Looked in the manual, but couldn't fdind any reference to it.

Hi,

Yup, makes sense.

Finally got a "digital" channel, I guess !

Sure would be nice if in the next Manual revision they had a page or two with every possible abbreviation, all being in one place

another note: DG = Digital AGC is "ON" / Dg= Digital AGC is "OFF"
