PSR-500 Pri

I just ordered my PSR-500 radio today. I was wondering if you can scan con/trunking system at the same time using the PRI? That is cool you can use PRI on Trunking system and 396/996 doesn't. I wonder where I can download the software? I'm reading the PDF file for that radio.

In the WIki you'll find quite a few software listed.

I don't use the Priority features, but I do believe it can be used on trunked and non-trunked. There is options to set TSYS and CONV ojbects with priority.

I have found with favorites soft key I don't need the priority. I use my priority channels in favorites and there is no clipping and the random 2-3-or 4 TGs or frequencies are constantly rolling at a touch of a button. Plus, I use Win500 and I will just set what I need as a favorite for the day or weekend and then load it into the scanner. Just my way of doing things. My own personal touch.

And to answer your question, you can scan ANY object or combo in priority.

Quick Text is just a function where you can enter words and when you put an alpha tag on an object you can recall those words really quickly without having to type them in.
